Hi, I'm Emily Sindoni. I am a dancer and performer based out of New York City. I began my training at the age of 4 at Lowe Dance Studio with the Voorhees Ballet Theatre under the direction of Suzanne C. Steinbach. Here I studied mostly classical ballet and pointe, along with tap, jazz and modern. In 2014, I moved to New York City to study dance at Marymount Manhattan College under the direction of Katie Langan. I graduated in 2018 with a BFA in dance, a concentration in ballet and a minor in arts management.
I am a current company member with The Peggy Spina Tap Company in SoHo, Manhattan. In the last year I have also worked with MOBIV: Mobilized Voices lead by Dani Cole, and The American Swiss Ballet Company directed by Sonia Melo.
I'm a trainer at DanceBody -- a dance-inspired fitness class. It's my favorite workout in NYC and I'm so excited to be teaching it! Think dance cardio PLUS sculpting and toning! I am also teaching at BodMod Fitness! Their motto is "25 and done!" aka an awesome 25 minute workout for all you busy folks. Catch me teaching barre, stretch, and full body workouts on Saturday mornings.
I love to sing and have been my entire life. I am currently training with Fran Kraemer in Manhattan. I have performed at Carnegie Hall, The White House, backup with Foreigner, and sang The National Anthem at the Philadelphia Phillies baseball game with my former teacher Nicole Snodgrass.
Originally from South Jersey, I love both my Philadelphia sports teams and a relaxing day at the Jersey shore. I enjoy reading, exploring new places, and good food. My favorite time is spent with friends and family and I'm so grateful for the support I have behind me as I follow my dreams in the Big Apple.
